On the 60th birthday of Erich Rauch Sr. and the 40th anniversary of the company, the first factory building in ‘Schmiedestraße’ is inaugurated.

The first Pelzer & Ehlers Polymasters 200t vertical short-stroke progressive forging press for the production of sockets.
A socket could be forged every 3 seconds.
